Recipe for Sabudana Chilla with Makhana- 

Ingredients :

  •  2 large cups of sabudana
  •  1 medium-sized boiled potato
  •  1 cup of Makhana
  • 1 cup finely chopped spinach
  • Season with salt to taste.
  •  1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  •  1 tablespoon green chilli, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon amchoor powder
  •  1 teaspoon lemon juice
  •  1 tablespoon ground cumin
  •  two tomatoes, chopped
  •  1 tablespoon oil

Directions – 

Step 1

Wash sabudana in cold or normal water. Soak the sabudana for 4 hours and the Makhana for 1/2 an hour. Make a paste of Makhana, green chilli, lemon juice, and tomato. Grate the tomato into a paste.

Step 2

Coarsely grind the sabudana and mix it with the paste. Heat a nonstick pan and grease it with oil. Transfer the paste to the pan and cook until it’s crispy. Roast it on a medium flame. After it is cooked, serve it with tomato chutney or curd.

Easy Pea and Spinach Carbonara

Cooking fresh pasta takes less time than cooking dried pasta. The base of the creamy sauce is egg-based. They do not thoroughly cook.

Ingredients:

  •  Olive Oil, Extra Virgin
  •  Breadcrumbs, Preferably Whole Wheat
  •  Small Clove of Garlic, Minced
  •  Grated Parmesan Cheese
  •  Finely Chopped Fresh Parsley
  •  4 Large Egg Yolks
  •  1 Large Egg
  •  Ground Pepper
  •  Salt To Taste
  •  Fresh Tagliatelle
  • Baby Spinach
  •  2 Cups of Fresh Or Frozen Peas

Directions –

This is one of the healthy fast dinner recipe options. So you must try it when you are craving food and don’t have much time. Following are the steps to prepare this easy pea and spinach carbonara. 

Step 1

Put 9 cups of water in a pot and boil over high heat.

Step 2 

Meanwhile, heat oil in a skillet over medium or high heat. Add garlic and breadcrumbs to the oil and cook, frequently stirring, until the breadcrumbs are toasted. It takes about 2 or 3 minutes. Transfer it to a bowl and stir in 2 tablespoons Parmesan and parsley, then set it aside.

Step 3

Whisk the renamed Parmesan, egg, egg yolks, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl.

Step 4

Boil the pasta in the water and stir it occasionally for less than 1 minute. Add peas and spinach and keep cooking it until the pasta is tender. Reserve 1/4 cup of the cooking water. After that, drain the pasta gently and transfer it to a bowl. 

Step 5

Next up, whisk the reserved cooking water into the egg mixture. After that, add the mixture to the paste, tossing with tongs to combine. Serve it on a plate topped with the breadcrumb mixture that you reserved.

2. Chickpea curry

This healthy Indian recipe is an authentic chickpea curry that can be made in minutes. You can eat chickpea curry with rice, warm naan, or chapati.

Ingredients:

  •  1 medium-sized Serrano pepper, cut into thirds
  •  5 large garlic cloves
  •  2 or 3-inch pieces of ginger, peeled and coarsely chopped.
  •  1 chopped small onion
  •   Oil
  •  Ground coriander
  •  Ground cumin
  •  Ground turmeric
  •  3 cups canned tomatoes, no salt added, with juice
  •  Kosher salt
  • Rinsed chickpeas
  •  Fresh cilantro

Directions –

Step 1. 

Pulse garlic, ginger, and Serrano in a food processor until minced. Then scrape down the sides of it and pulse again. Add finely chopped onions to it.

Step 2. 

Heat the oil in a saucepan over high to medium heat. Add the onion mixture and cook until it softens. Add all the spices and keep stirring for 2 minutes.

Step3.

Add the finely chopped tomatoes to the pan along with the salt. Keep occasionally steering for 4 minutes. Add chickpeas and garam masala. Keep the flame at medium and let it cook for 5 minutes. Your chickpea curry is ready.
