  1. Go to the search panel on your taskbar.
  2. Type ‘cmd’ and wait for the search results.

  4. When the command prompt opens, type icacls “C:\Config,Msi/T/C/grant administrators:F.
  5. Tap Enter to close the command prompt.
  6. Try installing/updating QuickBooks again.
